To Advocate for the Reclamation of our communal lands: It’s no longer a news , that we are on a daily basics losing our lands and communities to the Atlantic Ocean. Ayetoro, a recognized UNESCO site , the very first city where communism is practiced in West Africa is 60% lost into the Atlantic Ocean . No thanks to the devastating sea incursion.
Activities arising from Oil Exploration has destroyed most of our communities, forcing the people to migrate from their aboriginal settlements/Communities to another after they have been displaced. Communities like Mese, Gbagira, Awoye and others have been a victim of this ecological disaster. that has already been taken by the sea.
I intend to address this Ecological Problem by officially writing and drawing attention of State Government, Federal Government and Interventionist agencies to our travails with a view of providing solutions. We are going to demand for the use of our Ecological Funds. Create awareness with the International communities and International NGOs for purpose of getting the desired help or finally resulting to Self Help.
